Asked
“Asked” 表示提出问题、提出请求或发出邀请的动作已经完成，也可用于被动结构 “was asked to”。
- “I asked the librarian where the science section was.” (我问图书管理员自然科学类书架在哪里。)
- “They were asked to leave because the store was closing.” (商店要打烊，他们被要求离开。)
- “She asked politely for a glass of water.” (她礼貌地要了一杯水。)
“Ask” 源自古英语 “āscian”，与呼叫、探问相关；“-ed” 构成过去式与过去分词。
后缀 “-ed” 为规则过去式/过去分词标记。
客服与课堂里 “frequently asked questions”（FAQ）是固定用语；社交礼仪强调 “asked nicely”。
- 固定搭配: “asked for” (请求得到), “asked around” (四处打听)
把 “ask” 想成举起问号，“asked” 就是问号已经递出去并得到了回应或沉默。
“The child asked why stars twinkle, and the grandmother answered with a story instead of equations.” (孩子问星星为什么会闪烁，祖母用故事而不是公式来回答。)
