Fought
用于叙述已发生的肢体冲突、战争或体育对抗；也可比喻为与疾病、偏见、贫困等作斗争。不规则变化：fight → fought → fought。
- “They fought bravely until reinforcements arrived.” (他们英勇作战直到援军赶到。)
- “She has fought for equal pay for over a decade.” (十多年来她一直在为同工同酬而斗争。)
- “The two teams fought hard, but the match ended in a draw.” (两队拼得很凶，但比赛以平局收场。)
源自古英语 feohtan（战斗），与德语 fechten 等同源，现代过去式 fought 保留了古英语强变化形式。
不规则动词，无规则 -ed 后缀；过去式与过去分词同形 fought。
历史叙事与体育报道中高频出现；政治演说常用 “fought for freedom” 等表达致敬先辈。口语中 “fought like hell” 强调拼劲，语气较强。
