Glut

“Glut”

(Verb):
    1. 使供应过剩(to supply too much)。
  1. “There is a glut of oil on the international market right now.”
  2. “The market was glutted with cheap imported electronics.”
  3. “They glutted themselves on the feast until they couldn’t move.”

“Glut”

“In the summer of the bumper crop, there was a sudden glut of tomatoes. Farmers had so many that they couldn’t sell them all, and prices dropped to nearly zero. To avoid waste, the entire village decided to host a massive tomato festival, glutting themselves on pasta sauce and fresh salads for a week.”
