Goals
“goals” 常指具体可衡量的目标,也用于体育中的进球;复数强调多项计划或阶段性成果,与单数 “goal” 的用法一致,只是数量或范围更广。
- “She wrote down her goals for the new year.” (她把新年的目标写了下来。)
- “The team scored two goals in the first half.” (球队上半场进了两个球。)

“goal” 源自中世纪英语 gol,可能与古英语 gǣlan(妨碍、围栏)有关,现代义由场地端点的标记引申为“终点”与“目标”。

职场与个人发展语境中 “set goals / SMART goals” 很常见;足球等运动中 “score goals” 是高频搭配,体现竞技文化。
