Hoped

  1. “We hoped the weather would improve by morning.”
  2. “She hoped to finish the project before Friday.”
  3. “They hoped for peace after years of conflict.”

  • 固定搭配: “hoped for” (盼望得到), “hoped that” (希望……), “hoped to” (希望做……)

“He hoped the interview went well, but he would not know until next week.”
