Looked

基本义为视觉注意 “looked at the screen”;系动词用法 “looked tired” 表外表或状态;与介词搭配产生短语义 “looked after” 照顾,“looked into” 调查。

  1. “She looked out the window and saw the first snow.”
  2. “The old house looked empty, but lights came on at night.”
  3. “They looked through the archives for the original contract.”

日常寒暄 “you looked great” 表赞美;批评语气 “it looked bad” 暗示印象不佳。

  • 固定搭配: “looked forward to” (期待), “looked down on” (轻视)

“He looked nervous at first, but when he looked at the friendly crowd, he smiled.”
