Represented

“Represented” 可指代表某人或某团体行事,如 “She represented the union at the meeting.”(她在会议上代表工会。)也可指在作品、数据或符号中体现,如 “The chart represented sales growth.”(图表体现了销售增长。)

“Represent” 来自拉丁语 repraesentare,由 re-(再次)与 praesentare(呈现)构成,本义为“再次呈现、站在前台”。

政治 “under-represented groups” 指代表性不足的群体;艺术 “realistically represented” 评价写实程度;商务 “represented by an agent” 指由经纪人代理。
