Went

  1. “We went downtown to hear the band.”
  2. “The lights went out during the storm.”
  3. “Everything went smoothly on launch day.”

儿童游戏 “Simon says” 里常出现 “went like this” 模仿动作;叙事开头 “Long ago, people went on foot” 也很典型。

  • 固定搭配: “went on” (继续), “went through” (经历/审阅)

“The hikers went uphill until the trail opened onto a meadow.”
